My Story until December 2020 and continued

Mechanical Engineer Graduate (2016 Batch) of the University of Pune, I was all set to go to San Francisco to Study for masters, But to follow my quest I went to Mumbai Embassy declined my US visa to stay in India, with my college friends Co-founded an AR/VR Company named Quark Experiences Pvt. Ltd. At quark 70% of our business from Real Estate customers and 30% form FMCG and others. Running quark successfully for more than 2.5 years due to unforsean circumstances I took an exit from it to start something else.

The next time I was brainstorming problems, I connected dots of my background of agriculture and lack of tech driven supply chain platform for Hotels, Restaurants and commercial kitchens (HORECA). and Aker Foods Agrotech Pvt. Ltd was born. (https://akerfoods.com) We bootsrapped Aker and were able to acquire institutional customers like Subway, Farzi Cafe, Haldiram, Swiggy and zomato etc. Following year came in as a big boost to us in the form of one of India’s leading Angel network Mumbai Angels funding us at our seed funding. Today Aker Foods Caters to Pan Pune and some parts of Mumbai for HORECA and institutional B2B customers. Another platform of Aker Foods called Aker Retail has an omnichannel hyperlocal store for fresh fruits and vegetables in Pune where customers can order offline or online. Aker Retail has created footprint of about 6k unique customers in Pune in short stint.
